That looks like a fairly decent bag. I would like to know about this as well. Anyone got 'real' pics of it?

Looks new, and looks promising.

I've seen and tried it out. its like a computrekker, but with more of a nature trekker fabrication, same material as nature trekker and the laptop cpmpartent is in the front of the bag, not at the back, where it sits against your back.

I'm also interested in this new bag. According to the specs it's slightly smaller than Computrekker AW, did you notice any size difference in real life Dandaman?

The Vertex comes in 3 sizes, which one are you looking at?

I recently got the 200. what a bag, well worth the money. lots of room in main compartment for lenses, deep so the lens can go in so the cap shows not lenght ways, I have the 28-135 and the sigma 10-20 this way.
the straps are all fully adjustable, wide and loads of padding, waist belt takes alot of the weight off the shoulders. for when its fully loaded.

Very nice backpack; in my shopping list, too.
I have one question: Lowepro states the notebook compartment is 11.8W x 2D x 16.5H inches (30 x 5 x 42 cm); can you confirm these measures?
I am wondering if a 17" Macbook pro (10.4W x 1D x 15.4H inches) could really fit...

looks like an upgraded, or newer version of the Nature Trekker. An improvement in several subtle ways.

Anyone have any more info?
I'm curious about weight, tripod strap (easy to remove, get on, are main compartments still openable), comfort, etc etc.

Raistant - your Macbook should fit nicely with a little room to spare.

Jagwire - there is a strap at the top under a cover to secure the tripod at the top and a Glidelock on the back that can be used also.
Weight wise i believe its around 8 pounds empty.
Comfort wise the strap system is fully adjustable and well padded. I'm 6 ft and find some systems don't reach low enough. this one theres plenty spare.

I'm like 5'3. My mini trekker is nice in weight for me, but it's beginning to lack in size. 8 pounds seems heavy, I'm wondering what my mini trekker weighs.

Thinking of ordering one of these also, more reviews would be great.
