Out of curiousity, what program did you use to view them. I get the same thing if I try to use Irfran View. All other programs work fine. Just a thought.

You don't take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it.

Oh... and thats 1 photo by the way, not 4 differant ones.. 1 photo...

Looks like 4 combined, but its 1 click of the shutter..

Sent via UPS.. Canon will have it Monday...

What's the file size of the pic? Pretty different if you ask me. Nikon would probably market this as a new sales gimmick.

I used Raw Essentials as well as Canon DPP and Canon EOS Viewer and a couple of others, file size is.. 9.97mb per photo well, looks like about 9+ mb per photo, my 20D ones are only 7+mb per file..

Thats odd...

You might want to check out this thread re: RAWShooter Essentials. : http://www.digi-darkroom.com/showthread.php?t=21234 (external link). I don't believe it ever supported the 30d. I also notice in your sig that you have a 20d. Did you install the software that came with your 30d or just use the already installed 20d version? Although both cameras use the CR2 file extension, they are not the same. The Canon software has to be updated to correctly read the new 30d files.

Well I was hoping that was it but it still can not view them, I did speak to Canon again about this and they said the 20D canon software will not work with the 30D due to a change in file extensions. and in 99% of the case this is the problem but apparently its not in mine..

They will have it Monday so I will keep everyone posted.. I dunno

Sounded exactly like my problem but I guess its differant..

Yes, please keep us posted. This is a strange one. I'm still betting it's software related.

That's called the "Warhol" Effect. :)

Crap. SW got me. I didn't read the whole thread.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

wow... Picture in Picture... I paid a fortune for my PnP TV a while ago. Hope Canon sorts you out quick, I'd hate to be without my 30D, in fact it gets more attention than the wife does at the moment. lol.

Download Bibble lite and try it - free trial and definitely works with 30D.
