Thanks for the compliments. I consider myself lucky for having such a great subject to work with. ;)

I'm debating on whether or not I should get him into modeling.

Ed...he's just too adorable!! Great shots...I like both the color versions and the b&w but my favorite is definitely the b&w.

All great shots! But that 2nd one really looks like he's out to kick a$$ and take names. I like it! It's a good contrast from the other "happier" expressions.

Well done!

The shots are technically excellent. Your son is a rare one. He looks like a small adult, full of confidence, very sure of himself. Handsome lad.

Man, crazy!
I still love #2, your son is very cute, and your making him look pimpin :D.
In 10 years, whatever is alive, facebook, or whatever, he's going to show these photos off, and look back with all his friends and everyone will laugh and smile at them.
I wish I had photos like that when I was younger, really.
I agree with drisleys below post.
All shot with 50 1.2 btw?

IMHO, the colour versions are definately better than the B/W.
You did such a great job on the colour tweaking, it's a shame to see it disappear in the B/W. To me the B/W version just doesn't have the same pop.
You mention that you did some experimenting with the high pass filter. What exactly did you do? Use it for sharpening, or contrast enhancement?
Great processing, keep up the good work.
