That time frame seems about right.

Well, when we do meet, you can check mine out, LOL. Not sure if you'd get much use out of both that and the 70-200 (less your doing FF portraits or something.)

Oh I can find many uses for that lens :D I'd probably be better suited to grab the 85L though !

85L may be in my distant future, first I want to get a super tele for birding and street shooting (100-300, 100-400, 300 f4L is, 400 5.6) and then probably a 120-300 2.8 or 300 2.8. Then afterwards an 85L is tempting, but I don't know how I'll be able to afford tihs.
The 85L, however, cannot do many things that the 135L can, and vice versa (the focus speed on this thing I think is even faster then my 85 1.8.)

Ya I heard the 85L is quite slow with the focusing... but so damn sharp!

I'm constantly on the lookout for the Sigma 120-300 2.8. Almost had one about 6 weeks ago and then the seller backed out.

This guy was asking U$1900 for the DB version. I think the non-DG goes for a little less.
Brand new C$2700

Where do you see it so cheap BN? LOL.
Yeah, Non-DG should go for a little less.
It's a sweet friggin lens, and I think you can put a UV on it, so you can shoot it w/o a hood, that'd be nice.
It's that or 300 2.8 when the time comes, first a ligther tele for birding and stuff though. The 120-300 is so tempting because of it's price though.

I can't go with a prime as I need the ability to zoom for sports. I wanna be a Sports Shooter.
Talk to ED at Aden Camera Gerrand & Yonge. He usually has really good prices.

Weather's a lot nicer now. Anyone still interested in this?

Arguing with a psycho clown can be harmful to your funny bone.

I think if we could plan for a couple weeks from now it'd be nice.
Right now the weather is still a little jumpy, but yeah.
I think this event would have to be more of a sudden thing though because it'd be nice to get a day with nice clouds.
