On my desk at this very moment is an unopened box containing an MKIIn from B&H. I'm shaking. I'll be back later to recap the experience!

I big congrats on the new purchase. I can't even imagine the feeling...hope to have one soon.

I'm sitting on the fence so to speak...buy the IIn and a lens...or buy the Mark III when it comes out. No matter the choice... I'm sure it will be an experience.

Congrats again.

Thanks. I was still shooting film and wanted to move into digital. I was about to pull the trigger on an MKIIn when the MKIII was anounced. I held off thinking that would be "the one". After spending untold hours on this site and others, and running up against a deadline - I opted for the MKIIn.

I saved about $1200 bucks and I'll get the job done.

This might be the direction I will go... the money saved can be put to use on another lens. But.... the Mark III... WOW! Well both cameras make me say WOW! LOL I think I will flip a coin when the time comes. LOL

Congrats again on the purchase. Every owner I have spoken to at events loves the camera....I can't recall a single person regretting the purchase.

Its a fine camera, but it will spoil you for the future... all future cameras will cost you 5 times as much! ;) Enjoy.

congrats, I may go that way myself subject to seeing what first users of the MKIII make of it - especially those with experience of the MKIIn. Anyway I have the 70-200 f2.8 L IS ready and waiting for either.
