Lightroom Slideshow/Filenames

I did a quick search but did not find exactly what I was looking for.
I like to view my images in slideshow mode as a first cut to weed out the good from the bad.
Is there a way to have the file name appear on each slide so that I can jot it down for future reference?
OR
What methodology do others use to determine which images ultimately make the final cut?
If this has been discussed, I apologize. A helpful link would be appreciated.

Use Library. Set your Thumbnail size to max size. You can then handle them in different manners based on what you want to do. Example: you can use Quick Collection, you can grade them followed by a filter, you can delete the pics you don't like...

if you want to view a slide show with the file names click on web chose lightroom flash gallery scrool down to image info in either title or caption you can choose filename then you can play it as a slide show showing the filename with each pic.
