I claim false advertising - the picture shows ALL of Canon's lenses :p

...but on a more serious note, I've been two for two with the last CIWC rebates, with only a delay on one of them.

Glad to see the 70-200 f/4 IS on there. I juuust might get one now

Same here! I've been crossing my fingers for a spring rebate with the 70-200mm f/4 IS! Wouldn't that be a fun gift to get for the summer?

I called B&H today at around 4pm, and they said they had not officially heard of the rebate and it's not on Canon's website, and they won't honor it until they hear it from Canon. Is it anywhere on Canon's site? I can't find it. Anyone know where the guy who originally posted it got it?

The rumors have it starting 5/17. We'll just have to wait for tomorrow I guess.

Well, I'm glad I'm done buying for a while.....
B&H web site now shows the rebates and the prices have been raised accordingly....so in effect....there is no rebate if buying from B&H.

Oh that stinks. Unfortunately, B&H's price is still the lowest around on the 70-200 f/4 IS

Yah, this is EXACTLY what I was afraid of from my previous posts. The manufacture's rebate is supposed to be independent from the reseller's prices. This can be a problem at retail because the retailer can just pocket the rebate. Shame on B&H.

I've been waiting for today for a long time in hope of the 70-200 2.8 IS, but as mentioned above B&H have raised their prices to make the rebate useless.

GOOD NEWS: If you use the coupon code PSMAY077JQTF, it still rings up as $1599 which is still better than the "rebate".

Let's hope Adorama keeps their prices low and actually let's you use the rebates! So far they haven't changed their price on this lense yet.

Shame on B&H for raising the prices of the canon lens with instant rebate. The 70-400 is still the same price after the rebate is applied. Damn shame. Roberts, however, is honoring the rebate off their 1,059 price and so is Canoga Camera, which is slightly cheaper than Roberts.
