I think I'm done buying new glass for a bit. In the past few weeks, I've bought three:

1) Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM
2) Tamron SP AF 17-35mm f/2.8-4 Di LD Aspherical (IF)
3) Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM

My XT should be pretty doggone happy now and I've shot a pretty good wad of cash, so I think I'm done...even though I don't have any IS glass...or an extender...or...aw, never mind...I'll never be done. Geez, what will I tell my wife?

you will never be done. as long as you keep taking nice pictures and stay into photography, you will always want/need/desire new gear. it can be a really fun part of photography...each new piece of kit allows you to manipulate your scene in a certain way and see things in a new perspective.

Done? Never.

Wait until you start with the search for the "perfect camera bag." Make sure you have at least one empty walk in closet to store all your black bags....

Oh good, I thought I was the only one building a collection of black camera bags! My wife says, "is that a new bag?" and I nonchalantly reply "no I've had it for "a while" ;) "

I concur... the best thing is to push yourself away from this computer forum and just go shoot lots of pictures. :D

I agree. Since the first of the year I've purchased a 28-70L, a 17-55 IS, and a 550EX!

I have so many my wife is wants to have a party and give them out as party favors.

I need an inventory management system to keep track of them.

I actually think I might have a problem that needs a 12 step program.

Man me too! In the last few weeks I have bought

1) Canon EF 24-105 f4 IS L
2) Canon EF 100-400 f4.5-5.6 IS L
3) Tamron 28-75 f2.8 (to potentially replace my now sold 24-70L)

Worst thing is I have a serious summer itch for a 1D series camera. Second year in a row, hoping to resist this urge again as my 20Ds are great. Hang in there brother.

You are suffering from L.A.S......

otherwise knows as Lens Acquisition Syndrome.

It is a common phenomenon, perpetuated by this dang forum!!!!!!!

You just need to make sure that your SAF doesn't drop too low.

SAF=Spousal Approval Factor.

It could be worse. You could be married to someone like me who would fight you for those lenses! LOL.
