Here are some shots I did around my yard. It is overcast and starting to move toward dusk (8:30 pm). These shots are all untouched only converted from raw to jpeg in DPP. All are shot at ISO 3200.

Last thought here - these are all handheld with only the IS to help me. I hope to get out tomorrow with the trusty tripod for some quality pics:)

Holy Dual Processors Batman!

I love this camera!

Yeah, I haven't tried it with my slower CF cards, but zoom-zoom!

here's my duck shot. Not the greatest by any means, but maybe a bit different.

and a Black Crowned Night Heron at the same pond.

Here are a couple of quick shots. One at ISO 125 The swing and one at ISO 3200 Football practice. I did not shoot at 6400 but will do so tomorrow. The football practice shot was as the sun was going down and under low light. All I did to the pictures was crop and resize for web.

Beautiful, especially the draggon fly shot. Those are more than test shots for sure. Very nice.

I didn't shoot a lot of high ISO pics yesterday, but here is one:

What impresses me about the Mark III high ISO shots is the detail that is retained, even with macro shots. With my 20D, I tried not to go above 400 ISO because you lose details with macro shots.

I also feel that the added weight of the camera makes it easier to hand hold shots. The camera and lense just feel better balanced. :)

Just a couple of pics, still learning, especially post processing is horrible. #1 No PP yet. #2 100% crop.
