Hey Gene,

Thanks :)

Pro level sports shots are getting published, but not sure about university stuff, they hardly ever update the website and I haven't yet to check out the latest university paper.

Hope you're enjoy 10D :D

Merry Christmas to you, too!

Great captures, but does the color seem a little flat?

A little flat? You should see the overcast on the day! Lucky they didn't come out as Black&White!

That's "damn good" colour for a typical Manchester afternoon ;)

I don't know the results for Men's, I walked away to shoot Rugby n football after 5 mins. But women's second and third team both lost to Manchester.

Sorry mate

That's what I was thinking after posting that, I figured you were either using crummy lenses or the lighting that day was very flat.

Good stuff Gu... nice to see you've started shooting some hockey! The first and fifth shots are my faves.

On the subject of the colours, looks like there was some floodlighting on the women's shots - perhaps a custom white balance would help in these circumstances?

Cheers Gavin! :D

I used AWB throughout the day, I could have done better with custom white balance, but i left my grey card at home  ... oh well, next time I'll be mostly using MK II, I heard their AWB is excellent, dying to try it out :D
