Does the 350D/Rebel have "picture style" option?

Bryan,
Can you elaborate on what you mean by "picture style"?

They're called Parameters on the XT/350D.

I have both a 350D and 30D, and no, the XT does not have the 'Picture Style' options available on the 20D, 30D, etc. (Standard, Portrait, Landscape, Neutral, Faithful, Monochrome, +3 user defineable styles). It does however have one user defineable setting called 'Parameter1', where you can set the sharpness, contrast, etc. levels.

No, you'll have to buy something higher up on the food chain. I think the picture style settings begin with the 30D. Personally, I'd probably never use them since I shoot exclusively in RAW.

Picture styles are on the Xti, but not the XT. It does have several adjustable parameters (contrast, saturation, etc.), though, so you should be able to set things up the way you want.

Shoot in Raw and you can choose those picture styles in DPP and apply them to your photos.

(there are also additional styles you can download from Canon's website, such as twilight, clear, nostalgia, autumn hues and emerald)

If I recall picture styles were introduced with the 30D, 5D, and 1D mark II N.

It doesn't.

There are parameters you can set but you can't take a pre-created set and use it like you can on the 30D and 5D.

If you use Canons DPP software, you can actually apply picture styles to your RAW images even though the 350 doesn't have it built-in.

I shoot RAW so I have never messed around with Picture Styles other than for curiosity...
