Just received my new 300mm f4 and I like it. However, after the excitement wore off I noticed the focus mechanism is clunky sounding.
Anybody else have this issue or do I have a lemon?

Yup, tiz an IS version. I tried turning off the IS but still made noise. I guess I'll have to buy a bigger lens to avoid the noise. At least that is what I'll tell my wife!!!
