My first try on panning. 75-300mm @ 135mm, 1/30sec, f10, ISO400. Not quite good but I like it.

Sorry, I think I posted in the wrong section (motorsports), but you see there are lots of Horsepower :)

Could it be easier to pan with a wide angle than a telephoto? Here is one I got today with a 24mm.

Here is my best pan from the US GP this year. The cars were under hard braking coming down the back straight into turn 8. Shot through a fence with Canon 5D 500mm f4 IS handheld. There was a blurred cable that I managed to make less visible through some PhotoShop work. The red area is the ceramic brake rotor glowing from the heat.
