Just curious that that is on his camera. Does it trigger a remote flash? Thanks!

That's a Pocket Wizard; and it is to trigger an off camera flash or lighting set up.

It is a "chimping" detector!!! It monitors chimping by user and reports such offences to the appropriate authority.

anything you can attach another pocket wizard into; including but not limited to canon speedlites and all other hotshoe flashes and studio strobes

Camera+PW -> PW+flash


It could also be used to trigger another camera.

Camera+PW -> Camera+PW
