I went through the same fiasco w/ Amazon. What good is pre-ordering if they don't deliver them in the order received???

I heard Calumet had them in stock. Called them up and was surprised to see they had them. Ordered mine and it should be here on Monday.

Amazon dropped the ball on this one...

Technically, I have one, but haven't yet taken possession. Bought it on eBay last Thursday, for the SRP, from a place called The Imaging World, located in New York - it was shipped out FedEx on Friday, as promised and is supposedly currently on a FedEx truck to be delivered today. They have 'till seven tonight to deliver it.

One local shop has them in today. However, they are selling it for $1400. Isn't that a bit high. This is just for a body. I was sure I saw $1500 on Amazon with a 28-135 lens.

Yes, that is called gouging I believe. I would stop spending my money with them and let them know why...

Recieved mine Friday from local shop as promised just as I was on my way out for the long weekend.

well They notified me and told me it would ship out tomorrow so we'll see they also offered a 3 yr extended canon warranty for the screwup for 50.00 I said ok I'll take it.

I'll say this i won't jump ship again lesson learned and if I could had found it else where today I would had been all over it like a duck on a junebug and canceled with Berger-Bros.

I just walked out of the Best Buy in Smyrna GA with one...

Battery is charging as we speak.
