I just hate topics like one I just created but I need someone to decide for me. I have Canon 30D, Tokina 10-17 Fisheye, Sigma 30 1.4 and Canon 55-200 4.5-5.6 and want to fullfill empty spaces. I want probably medium tele zoom that is sharp. I don't really need fast lenses because I use a lot of flashes.

My dilemma number one: long telezoom Canon 70-200 f4 NON-IS or Sigma 70-200 2.8. Very similiar price. I want to buy one of these later.

My dilemma number two: medium zoom Tamron 28-75 f2.8 vs Sigma 24-70 f2.8 vs Sigma 17-70, budget 300-500$ I want to spend to these.

I shoot mostly action photos for my website and some magazines.

Thank you for your your time.

I enjoy both of my Canon 28-105 and 28-135 IS lenses. Both in your budget.

Both are bit too long to my taste as I want later to upgrade to one of those 70-200 zooms. And Tamron is for example better than Canon 28-135. I dont like image stabilization, dont want it.

I've been happy with the Tamron. All of the shots in my gallery that are under 75mm and not 50mm are through that lens. I've never owned an L, though, so I may not be the best judge.

Why is everyone recommending something else? I like longer ranges a bit more. I don't really feel that 17-30 space.

Perhaps if you'd explain yourself more clearly we would understand what you are needing. None of your three posts are entirely clear.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.
