Sitting in my usual position on the baseline near the basket, unusual to have this type of shot handed to me. The Yale player is now playing pro in Europe.

I have posted this one before. Its my current fav because the rider is my son, and the action of him sliding through the corner and haulin' azz, seemed to be nicely colored by the late afternoon sun. 'bigger stronger faster in the background seemed appropriate as well.

:lol::lol:Sort of crossed my mind too, great arch in the first pic though, wonder how many tricks he can turn out of a skyvan :D

Remember when (hoffman?) rode his bike out of the skyvan in ELoy for the nickelodeon thing?
I would have loved to take that video/photo of the entire skydive and the landing.

That's a really good shot. I like the lighting and all the dirt flying. It says 'bigger, stronger, faster' in the background! :)

The only play at home that I was able to get.
Notice the ball behind the catcher.

I can't remember things too far back so let's go for recent. :)

I like this one of a player diving back towards second base after a line drive out because of the intense look on her face and the question it asks - is she safe or out?

This next one I took on Tuesday and at first glance it didn't appear like much but then I realized that I had the players jumping out of the frame. It was taken with my 400 f/2.8 and 5D from a low angle so that there was no connection between the players and the foreground.

Nice shots! Have you been shooting 35mm before? I have the same Sigma. It's an awesome lens.
