why isn't it reflecting in the water? I think you might have doctored this image yes?

It wouldn't be reflected due to the crop.

there would still be light in the water. I like the photo, I'm just curious if a compliation is being passed off as a "real" photo.

I don't think so, given the angle and crop.

We'll see what the OP says. :)

Isn't it interesting how you jump to judge people for their abilities.

To clarify your curiosity, there is no "doctoring" of the image other than resizing and framing (for this wonderful website). To help you learn, a polarizing filter was used to eliminate any glare.

Peace!

P.S.: If you prefer to flame me, please do so privately since I prefer that this board refrains from meaningless personal attacks and insults.

I never personally attacked you, nor did I "judge" your abilities, I asked a simple question. The question still remains though since your explanation explains the "glare" of the moon but not the buildings.

Believe me, this is in no way a "flaming". I'm merely asking a question about the photograph and wondering about portions of it that don't quite add up.

I understand your desire to learn. However, your choice of word (i.e., doctoring) is a direct accusation instead of an effort to seek the process.

Stay well and keep sharing.

That must have been one of the stillest nights on record in your city!

Well done indeed.

Well, either way I still think it's a cool shot.
