I'm not sure I understand how the wikipedia definition of a pop rocks fits in the context of what Lucy was talking about. Are you implying that they're hiding these candies in their underwear? I'm still confused:

LucyRoberts is the only one with the ability to explain this to you.
All I know is that Pop-rock candy, comes in a little envelope type thing, and the little pieces you put in your mouth (it's like crushed up candy) and they pop, they make noises, it's fun. As to what happened how happened, Lucy is the one to ask.
:)

I can't wait to hear the rest of the pop rocks story, but I don't think we ever will.

Pop Rocks in the Panties

OK, so I get to the school to pick up my kiddos. I see my little girl in shorts that do not belong to ther and she's carrying a plastic bag with her capris in it. So I"m thinking WTH? Did she have an "accident"? So I ask her...

Mom: "Baby? What happened? You ok?"

Ally: "I had Pop Rocks in my panties. I don't want to talk about it."

Mom: Well, I think we need to talk about it. What the heck happened?

Ally: Nothing, I had to go to the office.

Mom; Were you sick? Were you in trouble? (At this point I'm thinking there is no way in hell this kid had Pop Rocks in her panties.)

Ally; " I don't want to talk about it ok?" (She's 6 so at this point this isn't an option.)

Mom: "OK, let's go talk to your teacher. I want to know what happened."

Well, I go talk to the teach...

Teach: "She had Pop Rocks in her panties. I don't know how they got there.. I'm not sure if they went off? But they were sticky and she had to change."

At this point I'm just kinda laughing at the thought of having Pop Rocks in her panties and I gotta admit kinda curious. ;)

Well, I talked to her best friend and she gave me the dish. Apparently Ally had gotten a pack of Pop Rocks as some sort of prize in her reading class. Well, in the hallway back into her regular class she opened them and wanted to sneak them in. Her capris didn't have any pockets so she pulled out her waistband (both apparently) and stuck them in her pants. Upside down.

Now that is all I know. But my mind is wandering in this. How long did she have them there before she got the nerve to tell her teacher? What do pop rocks in the panties feel like? And how good of a best friend does this kid have that she told me what happened so fast? (Although she really is a great best friend. Ally is way terrified of farting in public and she did one day at school and her best friend claimed it. That is a friend I tell ya!

So anyway that concludes the story of Pop Rocks in the Panties. And I am NOT liable for any of you freaks who attempt this at home. But if it works out for you, let me know cause I really am kinda curious. :p

Doesn't the curiousity make you a little bit freaky yourself? :)

Funny story, but I don't think your daughter started a trend. :)

Wow! I've been lurking this thread from time to time, seeing if someone has requested a CD that I have. I wake up to read a story about Pop Rocks in panties and a watched video about a cow bell. Great way to start the day.:lol::lol:
