I can barely fiit 30D+17-55IS hood reverse with 85F1.8 hood reverse on the side.

are you referring to the 5MDH? I also have the 30D and 17-55IS + hood. Would the side fit comfortably the 70-200 f4? The flash should fit with ease right?

I really like my 7 million dollar home, It can hold my XTi+grip, 70-200 F4 IS, Canon 28-105mm, Sigma 10-20mm, 50mm F1.8, 430EX Flash, extra batteries, memory cards, gorilla pod SLR Zoom, note pad, pens, flash diffuser, remote shutter release, and some other small odds and ends. And I still have enough room to cram in another lens or two small lens, plus another flash.

Only problem with it is that its easy to overload it with too much stuff and it can get quite heavy if you are planning on doing lots of walking around. I also don't see the need for both a velcro and snap to close the bag, its a bit more secure but more of a pain to open up while walking around, I would prefer it with just the snap.

Mine's so stuffed that it can't attach to the velcro.

Doubt it. Not a xxD series at least. AS you can see, my pic shows my 20D fitting very fittingly in the 5MDH w/o a grip. Turning it would push it out too far i believe.

Yes, I have 5MDH.

Your setup should fit for sure if the 70-200F4 has no hood. If you reversed hood on 70-200F4, I think you can still screeze in but will be very very tight.

It depends on the attached lense more than the grip. 30D with grip + lens up to the length of 17-55IS will fit into 5MDH. If you try to attach any longer lens on 30D, it will be taller than 5MDH. The bag will still close, but won't look right.

Oh, n/m. Only can buy if I found a deal. Seen them on ebay for cheaper than retail. But I must resist.

Still, be nice I guess to have. Is still want someone's 4MDH they got from Circuit City for cheap. Mine sucks and the next closest is too far to check.

This is starting to look good...

I have a long list of kit that I lug out when I go out for outings, and after getting the 1D mk3... my old bag won't cut the mustard anymore.

Would the 7MDH be suitable for

1D mk3
16-35Lmk2
24-70L
70-200L
580EX
rocket blower
random small pieces of stuff

If so, I'll go down to the local retailer and try it out :D though Crumplers cost a bundle here in Singapore...
