Love the bokeh in #2. The color seems a little flat, may be my monitor.

#1 and 3 almost seem a bit flat in comparison to #2, but maybe cuz she's so fair skinned, they just seem to lack a slight pop. #2 is great, nice use of contrasting colors, I find it a tad overexposed tho, her hand esp, her face a bit and the top of her head seem a bit blown out. Otherwise nice shot!

The second is the best. I think not having both eyes in focus on the first and third is part of the reason I am not as fond of them.


Critique and advice are always appreciated, even when it's brutally honest.

i agree about the both eyes not in focus ... otherwise these are very nice picture, the model is gorgeous


30D & 28-135 kit lens, 50mm F/1.8 MKII, monopod, tipod w/pan tilt head, 430EX w/ sto-fen omni bounce,

On the brown truck, due 10/26 ... 70-200 2.8L IS :D

I think # 2 is technically the best shot, but IMO, it wouldve looked a lot better if she fixed her hair.

One more vote for no 2.
The third picture, is your camera front focusing just a touch? The reason I ask is that the left eye is sharper than the right and her clothing is sharper on her left.
