At least on Roberts' site, it looks real.

dam.. rebates suck compared to canadas one

Maybe they realize that with the CAN$ equal with the US$, they are overcharging our friends to the north.

In fact, it may be that Canon is taking a hit by not raising U.S. prices as our currency has sucked so they are not "able" to give us good rebates.

Still a bird in hand is worth two in the bush; I'll be buying my 70-200 f/4 IS before too long.

I could have saved $50 on my 60mm macro and 50mm f/1.4  instead I paid $50 extra because since Canoga didnt ship out the day I paid I needed to upgrade to overnight shipping to get my stuff on time oh well lol

Good grief! I just took at look at the Canadian prices (Kerrisdale) on the 5D kit minus their rebate. I had no idea they were so high. I think I need to stop complaining about the US 5D pricing now and stop obsessing over this rebate. What an eye-opener!

YAY - I just ordered the 70-200 2.8 IS! Can't wait to get it! Even 125 is better than nothing!

Grab the 5D kits while they are low in price (and USD is low). Mine works out to be only around $3335CAD after tax (from B&H), where the lowest in canada is probably around $3799+tax = $4330CAD - A whole $1000 difference!

Looks like B&H has adjusted the prices for the "instant" savings already.

And yeah, this year's rebates SUCK

I was going to get a 5D, 135/2 and possibly 85/1.8, but with the lame rebates I just may hold off???

In the end something is better than nothing...right?:)

I noticed B&H dropped the price of the 24-70 f/2.8L from $1139.95 to $1059.00. I guess instead of mentioning the rebates, they just changed the prices.

580EXII in B&H has it at $359.95 less $50 rebate = $309.95...I think that's a good deal.
