Been swamped with a busy family schedule and haven't posted a pic in awhile. Saw something similar on strobist and wanted to give it a try. My daughter by this time had enough of my lighting tests and wanted to check her Halloween haul ::

Strobist info: 580EX II pushed high into shoot through umbrella (43" Westcott)

I want to try this one again, but make it a bit easier for her to hold the umbrella up.

Have a great day

Thanks for taking the time to comment. Glad you liked it. I was hoping to have her hold the umbrella a bit higher so there was a bit more separation from umbrella to her head. It was getting a bit heavy for her.

Oh well, maybe I can bribe her to do it again :p

Yeah because that is t only way she is going to let you take another...Got one myself and all I hear from her is "NO! You're not taking my pictures!!"

I just love you lighting technique, having the bounce of the flash cmoe back through the umbrella.
