I've been waiting around eBay for a good deal to come up on a DSLR so I can upgrade from my Pro1 that I got this summer. I found one, and just got it in my hands the other day.

I bought this Rebel XT with everything pictured for only $350 shipped. The guy is a Doctor and said he only used it a few times, and that it was 'too big'. The camera is like new and had taken just over 300 shots, and the software hadn't even been opened.

Here's what I got:

  1. Rebel XT
  2. The kit lenses and the beginner 75-300mm
  3. 1gb high speed CF card
  4. 2 original canon batteries
  5. 2 canon filters, PL and UV.
  6. Canon bag.
  7. All original manuals, software, cable...
I think I got a decent deal at $350 shipped. I know it isn't a camera to drool over, but I'm pretty damn happy because I can finally take my hobby a step up without going broke since I'm still a student.

Now if I can find a good deal on a decent macro lens I'll be set!:D

I have a great technique to getting amazing deals on eBay. Everything I buy is much much less that market value, in fact I did a lot of reselling in the past making decent money. If you want you can PM me and I'll show you how. I'm still looking for a few lenses and I don't want EVERYONE snagging up all the good deals :)

Excellent deal. That's the same price that I sold my year old XT and accessories for. Well done.
