Hi all,

I've spent a long time search for the answer to this but to no avail. Have any of the UK buyers out there bought from Digitalrev and successfully claimed the Canon cashback? The only problem I see is that I need a UK invoice and I'm not sure if this is supplied.

Thanks in advance!

I have used Digitalrev, but never with the cashback - however, I certainly did not receive a UK invoice.

Try and use Kerso either ebay or PM from this site. He imports from US but provides a UK invoice where cashback in UK have not been a problem.

I have used Onestop Digital and got a 'Canon international warranty' with the 10-22 so can claim the cashback or send it for repair in the UK.

Some sellers have thier own warranty and so you have no chance of the cashback or free warranty repairs.

So, just make sure you get a 'Canon international warranty' and nothing less.

Are you sure you can claim the cashback? Canon lenses all have an international warranty, but that's separate from the cashback scheme. I'm pretty sure the cashback rules require you to have purchased it from a UK supplier

I think you have to have a UK registered company receipt/invoice to claim the cashback.

Warranty and cashback are 2 different things and not handled as one.

I rang Canon a little while back and this is what they told me:

Canon is split into different regions (Europe, Asia, US?...). Each region runs their own promotions and to be eligible you need a receipt from within that region.

For the cashback deal you can use a receipt from a dealer anywhere in Europe not just the UK.
