Just recieved my copy of this lens today. I am so glad that i spent the extra money and purchased this lens. The IS is brilliant, without it this lens would not have the same appeal.

Thanks for the comments people seems that i have def got a good copy and yes it was taken with a 24-105 lol.

I was a little worried that the highish F4 stop would not be low enough but it gives a beautiful bokeh and the IS helps with the light isues.

I never realised how effective the flash could be in day light. Works great with difuser.

I have learnt so much since i have started browsing on this site.
