Dan, go look at Reynos picture. His pics are well known, but look at him. He's not the tallest corn stalk in Florida fields, but he's standing in it all alone, with a white T-shirt on. Camo shmamo.

Yeah, but look at the lens, the birds never knew he was there! :)

I knew I had another photo of me laying around. I posted this once before, but when I
changed servers, it was "misplaced". This was taken by my friend Adam (SlipNslide281).

Speaking of motorcycles, I used to have a Yamaha V-Star 1100. I sold it in 2006 because I didn't have time to ride (must be this photography thing taking up all my time!) Here's me with it about 4 years ago.

I sold that a couple of summers ago. You know, to fund other toys! A gal only has time for so many hobbies. ;)

With the quality of your shots, I think you definitely made the right decision. :D

The 400 is the spotting scope for the 800. ;)

Karen, brilliant idea this I think but I can't find many Brits....Where are you all?

Anyway, this is the only pic I can find of myself and it's a scan of a photo taken about 6-7 years ago. I've lost a bit more hair since then.:)

Sold the bike (Fireblade) now before I killed myself.

Must say I look a bit worried on the bike but that's because there's ice on the yard and I'm thinking I'm going to drop this thing any moment now.

Thanks for the compliment! Also, bird photography tends to be less dangerous than motorcycle riding. ;)

Super idea! I've been very busy lately and have not had much time for the forums, but I can't resist posting myself here with my fellow bird photography friends!

First shot is of my pride and joy...my family. It's a self portrait taken with the timer. God bless my very patient wife! The second, a crop of a shot a friend took (my wife's eyes are half closed in that one and she almost deleted it...too bad.)

Nice too put faces to all those names we've associated with for all that time.:D

I dug around looking for something other than the zoo pictures Karen posted for me (ahem...) and found one that works. To those of you who don't flyfish, this might look like a glorified innertube in a river. To those of you who DO flyfish, this is a glorified innertube in a river serving as a poor man's bass boat. No registration, no trailer, no gas, no duel-wheeled pickup truck waiting back at the ramp... just enough room on board for a softie cooler of cold beers and a few spare popping bugs for the bass and bluegill. Cindy took this shot with my old Fuji camera (no way I'm bringing the XT out on the water...)

Looks like a rough life! LOL. And I doubt seriously if it matters if you catch anything! :)
