Eizo monitors

I have been looking at reviews of monitors for some time now and I thought I had come to a decision to get the FlexScan S2411W , but after reading this http://www.shutterbug.​net …uters/1006ezio/​index.html review I think the ColorEdge CE210W would be a better buy , they are similer in price even though the ColorEdge CE210W is 3" smaller, I would like a Eizo cg model but who wouldnt and there has to be a compromise somewhere along the line, so does anyone have any experiance with the ColorEdge CE210W ?

One question - do you really need such a large gamut and precise colors? I use a consumer monitor, calibrated, and it works great. I'd rather have two good big monitors than one great one.

Well tbh i'm not rearly sure, at the min im on a laptop and the screen is to small and its to slow to do anything on, so I'm getting a new pc and monitor , i have the pc sorted i want , so now I have to pick a screen I was going to get a BenQ FP241WZ to start with then the more I kept reading the more expencive it gets ,
, as I have found there is always something i read that someone as put that makes me start looking again, but I guess that opinions are not always going to be the same on things,

I have a 3 year old Samsung LCD that i'm very happy with. It might not show the full aRgb gamut but my prints look like my monitor. I think you have to be careful what you believe online.

I think your right about taking in to much what is said online , albiet there is some great advise on these forums , I think some people go a little ott with somethings
saying that I think I still might get the CE210W , or there is the nec LCD2690WUXi , but might be to big , there is a 24" but it isnt avalible in England so the search goes on

I think I might of come to the same conclusion, and I think I am going to get one or two samsung 215tw , even if I get two it will be still cheaper than one samsung 244t or one CE210W ,and the 215tw seems to get great reviews for photography work , so as its 6am here im going to go bed now , get up later have another think , then order one or the other over the weekend

the dell 2407 and 3007 and Apple ACD 23" AND 30" are all great and can easily be calibrated to have pretty accurate color and save you a bit while providing a larger viewing area
