Has anyone ever used shieldzone.com products??

If your invisibleSHIELD ever becomes scratched or otherwise damaged while protecting your device, don't worry, all invisibleSHIELDs are backed by a lifetime guarantee. Simply send it back to us and we'll send a replacement, for free, for life!

Sounds pretty good to me. Just wondering if a LCD screen protector is worth it or not. BTW, its $10.95

Thanks!

Not worth it. The LCD panel on the XT and other EOS digitals is actually covered by a very hard and abrasion-resistant panel. It's hard to scratch and easy to replace for around $20. I use big, clunky, belt buckles ull of edges and my screen covers on the D60, 20D and 5D are all pristine.

Thanks. I'll use the $$ towards something useful!

Put a piece of clear packing tape over it or a Palm type PDA screen saver plastic stick on shield. Cheap insurance and easier than spending $20.00 to replace the plastic screen. No worries about zippers, snaps and buckles then, but they can still scratch the rest of the body.

Anything that can scratch Canon's LCD protectors will probably rip right through any soft cover you put over it.

I strongly suggest that you forget adding anything to Canon's LCD protector, as you would probably be doing nothing but making it harder to see the images on the display.

I use an LCD protector not for scratches but the oil on my nose.

I also use the Shieldzone.com products FWIW and like the extra protection.
