Some if not all of the Lowepro bags at Amazon have an instant discount. I think it varies with the bag and only applies to the bags sold from Amazon.

Examples:

Free shipping and no tax!

lowepro slingshot 100 AW + free Lowepro Transporter Camera Strap $62.95
lowepro slingshot 200 AW + free Lowepro Transporter Camera Strap $80.95
lowepro slingshot 300 AW + free Lowepro Transporter Camera Strap $93.46

Add them to your cart to see the discount. Select the combo that puts the strap and bag together.

I'm tempted to on one of these. Which is the minimum size that will fit a 30D with a 70-200 lens attached?

thanks for the heads up. I've seen the 200 fit a sigma 70-200mm. I don't think the 100 will work, I've tried to fit my 24-70mm in it and it wouldn't fit

The 200 fits my XT+70-200 very tightly, so I'd say if you want it to fit comfortably, get the 300.

I used the sling 200 with a gripped 30d and a 70-200 2.8 + 100mm macro and a 12-24 uwa lens and it fir it all perfectly. I think it is ony the mater of organizing the dividers and your gear. I loaded the 580ex in to the top pocket and a few other things in the front pocket.

Tunin, do you have your 70-200 mounted on the 30 while it's in the bag? If so do you have it in there vertically, or is it in their horizontally (parallel to the ground)? Do you have any pictures with your gear in there?

I also want to know if a 70-200 mounted will fit. I bought Slingshot 100 two months ago and added the 70-200 last week. I love the SS100 and will replace it with a 200 or 300. Thanks

The price for the Slingshot 300AW is now $77.27 @ Amazon. I just ordered one for even less. I don't know if it's a promotion but if you click the "Better Together" link for the 300AW @ Amazon now, and proceed to checkout, then select Free Supersaver Shipping the total shipped is $65.68. That's the 300AW bag plus strap for under $70. I would imagine the 200AW and 100AW would be even less.

Yeah, it seems like everybody has dropped their prices on this bag. I noticed yesterday that Amazon dropped their prices from when I made my original post, but the SS 200 was only available through Adorama. Now Amazon is selling it directly again for $57.31 shipped, with the free strap.

My buddy picked up the 200AW for $57, so it looks like the new lower pricing is:

100AW - $42
200AW - $57
300AW - $66

Nice prices for the Slingshot line.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I got the Lowepro SlingShot 300 All-Weather Camera Bag and the Lowepro Transporter Camera Strap for $65.68, free shipping. I think that's a pretty sweet deal.
