Been working on some portraits

Hey all... I've been working on my pp techniques as well as my shots. Hopefully these look better than the last ones I've posted. I shot these with 1 studio strobe flash on a stand with my 40D on a tripod using my 24-70mm lens in RAW. Used DPP to convert to JPG. PP done in PSPX2. Let me know what you think. And I do know that a hairlight was needed in these so no need to point that out. Thanx!

these look a little warm to me and only your daughter seems very impressed to be helping out...

what kind of background are you using? I think if you power up that strobe and just get some tin foil on the other side of them behind you'll have all the hairlight you need.

Agree #1 is a little warm and dark, but I love the pose. She's a beautiful girl!
#2, he does not look happy with you! I'm not sure if its oversharpened or what, but it doesn't look right.

1st one, good pose, brighter next time and crop her body better.
2nd looks a bit noisy.

I agree with the feedback that they are too warm and too dark.
