I know this is supposed to capture movement but it looks OOF to me, even the stationary obhects.

I think it could really benefit from a bit of sharpening and some brightening.

truth is the movement came from 55+ mph gusts that didn't allow me to keep anything steady even with a shield and tripod. for that reason, I added the blur to give it a painted effect rather than go for a tack sharp image. I may try a little selective sharpening as you suggest and a little more dodge and burn would probably work here as well. Thanks.

I really like this as well. Since there is so little color in he shot, you might consider converting it to b/w.

i like it, though I would crop out the grass if i where to print it, cool shot. I take pictures of that light house all the time.

I wound up doing a few more "versions" and it definitely works much better in b/w. The grass has to go and I cropped out a good bit and cloned some more but there was no way to entirely remove all of it without compromising more of the image. Such is life.
