I LOVE it! It looks like it would make a great motivational poster, like that one of the kitten hanging that says, "HANG IN THERE!"

I absolutely love that photo. The clouds are so dramatic - I'm thinking the lone hiker wants to get to shelter before the storm rolls in. Imo, this picture has incredible depth and feel about it. I'd be hanging it in my home if I were you.

Thanks! How do you guys feel about the colors (ie it might be a little grey) and also do you feel that the guy in the foreground pretty much blends into the photo too much or that his placement and lighting fit in well, considering the well- lit ridge in the background?

I like the colour the way it is. It does have a bit of a grey look to it, but I think it enhances the mood. As for the hiker, to be honest I didn't even notice him right away. Ya, he sorta blends in but this is the sort of picture that draws your eye in every direction....sorta like 'Where's Waldo'. ;)

I like it, it reminds me of a Charles Bronson movie. Can't remember which one though. Pretty sure it wasn't any of the Death Wish series.

Great shot! I do have to wonder what the hell you were doing out in those horrible conditions though.

Breakheart Pass ?

OP, I love this photo. It's absolutely tack sharp and the composition and lack of color are awesome.

I like it, I would just selectively brighten the foreground. I'd also prefer it if the hiker was walking into the frame rather than out it.
