Ahhhhhhhhoooohhhhhaaaaa....

I look forward to comparing it to the 22MP Leaf back we shoot with.

I'm very interested in seeing the results / comparisons of this!

1Ds Mk 3 comes with incamera guides. You can choose to either use it as a 35mm, or choose different aspect rations, such as 6x6, 6x7, and other formats. Basically u get guide lines of where the different ratios are, pretty nifty.

lotsa little things and settings in the 1Ds mk 3 to play with. If u use the wireless adapter for it, takes roughly 5 - 10 seconds to transfer a raw + jpg L file.

Got extremely lucky and popped on B&H Friday night. I've been occasionally checking out to see if/when they would stock a 1Ds. Every time showing, "Back-Ordered". Well, late Friday pm it showed In-Stock", but order processing closed until 5:45pm EST on Sat. Jumped online at 5:45 the next day and lo and behold, still there and able to click Buy :). It immediately went to "Out of Stock" after the purchase. Must've gotten one of the few they had stocked.

B&H sends camera out on Sun via UPS and it just arrived (12/24). Just unbelievable service over the holiday season.

Have a great day

Canoga Camera. They usually have received newly released gear earlier than most dealers, but not this time...

I just picked mine up!!! I asked my local camera store if they were going to carry it and for how much. Can you believe this small 2 store chain is selling the 1Ds Mark III for $7200.00. I was shocked. The best part is I am in Delaware. TAX FREE SHOPPING!!! Now I just have to wait until I am done work in 2 hours before I can play with it!
