I called initially when the recall was first announced. I also had to call back with my S/N; I couldn't find a hex wrench to get the L Bracket off.:o:o:o

Heres a future tip for you ;)

All you have to do is open up DPP on your PC, right click on one of the RAW files and click "INFO".When the window pops up showing the picture tech's, scroll down to the bottom and you will see "Camera Body No".

BINGO :D

Very wise. It is what it is.

Anyway, Merry Christmas to you and all the other MK III thread alumni. We've sure flogged this subject over the last few months, haven't we?;)

Oh yeah. Many more miles. The manic-ultra-pixel-peepers and RG won't let it die that easy. ;)

All I can say it that it's nice to actually be talking about great photo quality about other people's photos. I was fortunate to have a non-defective camera (no parts replaced) and one that 1.1.3 resolved the unexplained OOFs. My brother is sending in his camera this week (one serial number off mine) so it'll be interesting to see what Canon reports on his camera.

Ok, let's flog it in a different way then... everyone add a line :)

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
"Put down that darn focus chart!", was yelling my spouse.
The labels were lined on the table with care,
In hopes DOF would find it's way there.
