Rufous Night Heron....

I was in the city on Saturday night... doing a night scape of Melbourne....
This Rufous Night Heron sat close by me, ready to fly at any sudden move... but he hung around for a while. I used my flash with him at ISO 100.
I saw him a few nights later when I visited the same spot.

Great effect with the flash and the night giving the dark background. Amazing you got so close.
