I'd cheat. I'd go with the 24-105 and then just stick my 50/1.4 in my jacket pocket and wouldn't tell any of you. :)

Can I have one per body ?
I couldn't be without the Sigma 100-300mm f/4. It covers the baseball, and with a Tc wildlife also. It's usually on the 30D.

The Tamron 17-50mm has found a home on the Xt.

Lenses are like potato chips. You can't have just one. I don't remember the last time I left the house with only one.

It'd have to be the 24-70 or 70-200.

If you could have only one "L" lens, which one?

I know there is "worst "L" lens thread going on...but wanted to hear the flip side of coin as well.
I guess you could rephrase it as "what is the best "L" lens?

I'd like to exclude 1200mm from your reply...
