Curious: for all of you who have braved the sub-mirror fix, how long did it take, round trip? Answer in the poll above and maybe even add a few comments about the turnaround service.

It was collected Friday am, delivered Monday am, fixed Monday pm, returned and in my house Tuesday am. With a free 2Gb card.

Absolutely brilliant! Can't recommend the guys at Elstree enough!

Carl.

4 days. No vote selection!

Very pleased with the work by Canon, and delivery by Fedex. (Fedex delivered the 2 day return in 1 day)

Mine was sent in Friday, Canon got it Monday and it will be back in my hands tomorrow! That makes 3 days, they actually got it done in two.

I sent mine in on 12/18/07 and haven't seen it since.

I have called and got various answers several times. I give up.

1st day of the announcement (October 17th)....afternoon, Pacific Daylight Time.

They first tried contacting me the week before Christmas, but I was out of town.
