Just visiting your section to get some idea of what you are all saying about the 1Ds. I was amazed to see that some are still waiting to receive theirs when they seem so available ie on ebay.

I have just looked on B&H site and they seem to have plenty of 1Ds. They also have some used ones. That does not sound too healthy to me. Any incite on this?

I really wish canon didn't price the 1DS so high at $8,000. If it was reasonably priced at $6,000 I would probably spring for it. For it to be twice the cost as the 1D MIII doesn't make sense to me.

I also think it's dumb that canon doesn't even have them stocked enough to keep up with the demand.

Got my 1DS MkIII Dec.26. I love it. Images are remarkable. Still no support in Aperture yet, I'm using Adobe Camera Raw, I do miss Aperture, hopefully support soon. I got my camera from B&H, I checked the site almost every day, finally didn't say backordered. In stock on Dec.23 and had it Dec.26 X-Mas came a day late.

^ That is my biggest issue right now is with Aperture. I do not know why Apple can not update it to support the camera.

Nah, looks like I am going to see if the 300mm f2.8 will fit on this kodak! It comes with 12 free shots!

Seriously, They are all going overseas, I still believe there are only a limited few being released here every month. I was told that I may have to wait until June.
