Have a look at this first: http://www.stegmann.dk/mikkel/porta/ (external link)

It will output galleries like this http://www.stegmann.dk …ta/demo/mies_simpleviewer (external link) or this http://www.stegmann.dk/mikkel/porta/demo/mies (external link) in a few minutes...

Learn some basic HTML. It's really pretty easy.

I went with Smugmug.com. They provide full services for photogs and they will handle photo purchases so you don't need "store software." Getting your site up and running can take a few hours, but once you figure out how to upload your information it's pretty easy.

I bought a simple template from www.allwebco.com (external link) and customized it in Notepad. It was pretty simple once I figured out html.

it's quite easy.

http://gallery.menalto.com (external link) <- good one i use

godaddy is a bit hard to navigate though (very cluttered). I recommend www.1and1.com (external link) - I use that for all the sites I've built. No problems for 4-5 years.

I'll run the set up for you if you'd like (easy stuff). Just register all the information.:D

Agreed. It does what I need for now, until I can learn more about flash and create my own site.
