ok, here is the final math:

B&H price on the USA lens: $449 + $9.90 shipping (3-5 day UPS) = $459

Sigma4Less price on USA lens: $434 + $18.60 shipping (3-5 day UPS) = $453

your saving: a whooping $6!!!!!!

If you're still looking for this lens, don't forget about Amazon: $431.62 with free shipping. I've been checking prices for this lens daily and this is the lowest I've seen except for eBay.

Just noticed that Beach Camera (via Amazon) has it for $424 with free shipping!

[Edit] Guess I wasn't digging deep enough before. Just found this lens on buydig.com for $409 with free shipping and it says brand new with manufacturers USA warranty. think I'm gonna pull the trigger on this one.

Will sigma honor the warantee if it is not bought at a authorized dealer? Sigma4less is not authorized so that is why I am asking. Amazon is authorized but only if its from the amazon store, not Beach Camera, etc...

most of the time B+H is really close . Right now the canon 10-22 is cheaper by 20 bucks at B+H .
Somebody buys the 2 nd's , overstock and over runs . Sigma 4 less is one of the places . Not worth a couple of bucks 2 me . A 100 ? Something doesn't sound right .

Highly doubt that Sigma will honor a warranty on a Tamron lens. :D Ok, I know what you meant.

I really dont even check around for prices anymore.
I just buy from B&H.
I've learned they have very competitive prices consitantly.
Skimping an extra 5-20 bucks isnt worth it to me when I buy new glass.

Just as a side reference - the owner of B&H donates a lot of his net profit to charity (From what I have read, it's most of it) and lives a very 'standard' lifestyle for someone who owns a 700 million company. He is also VERY good to his emloyees which is why you ALWAYS get someone helpful on the phone when you call them. His employees like working their from what I can tell. To me, it's worth the piece of mind and knowing I am supporting a good company and they will support me back when needed. Well worth the 6 bux.

Thanks -
Justin
