PW/5D problems.

Just bouth a set of PW's, but I have problems to fire the transmitting PW when I have it on the hotshoe on my 5D.

I can fire the slave with the test button, and the hot shoe works fine with the flash directly in the hotshoe.

When I put a cable from the PW to the PC socket on the 5D, everything works fine.

Whats wrong?

Are the controls on the PW at the back facing you when holding the camera normally, or are they facing in the direction of the lens. If the controls are not facing you, reverse it and try again.

Yes, the buttons are pointing at me. Acually, it does'nt fit the other way.

I did another test today, and now it works. I dont know why, but everything is fine.
