Hi,
I know this questions have been asked alot.
but I can't seem to find the right answer.

my laptop dimensions are 16.4" x 1.32" x 11.8"
I would like to spend less than $100 if possible.

I'm thinking of getting either:
1.
Lowepro Fastpack 350 Backpack

2.
Tamrac 3380 Aero 80 Photo/Laptop Backpack

I can't seem to find the laptop compartment dimensions on these bags.

thanks for your help

I have the Tamrac Adventure 9 and its awesome. Best investment for me.

I have 3 lenses, my body, 2 hoods, all my cf cards, and spare batteries. My 17" HP fits snug in the laptop portion. My laptop is 16" x 11" x 1.850". Yours its a bit bigger, but I could see it fitting if you stuff it in there. I would suggest going to a local store which sells it and try to stuff your laptop into it. If it fits, then go for it.

The LowePro CumpuRover...

Granted it's over $100, but can fit a 17" wide screen.

thanks, I saw both the tamrac adventure 9 and the lowepro compurover...
but when I saw the adventure 9 description "laptops up to 15½" x 11" x 2" in size"
I don't think this will fit my laptop...

but I think the lowepro compurover might... my laptop is bigger in width by 0.2"

You should definitely check out the CompuRover. It fits my 17" wide screen Dell Inspiron 9400. I don't have the measurements for the laptop, but it's one of the biggest on the market and it fits in the CompuRover.

Have you measured your laptop? A 17" monitor is measured diagonally, not across. My 17" LCD desktop monitor is only 14 1/2" wide..
