Ok. Here is my little whine :) I have 2 two year olds. Neither one will sit still enough for me to get a good shot of them. Of course this is expected due to their age, but it is very frustrating. Both of my children have AMAZING big black eyes. I have the hardest time trying to get them into focus as the camera always wants to focus on their skin rather than their eyes because of the darkness. My daughter is usually more willing to "sit" for me the most, but cannot sit still for longer than 5 seconds. So this adds to my frustration. Is there a trick that I can do to get the camera to focus on their eyes quickly before they move? Or am I dreaming? Here is my best attempt at getting "sharp" looking eyes.
These are not considered portraits by far, but rather snap shots of the one second she sat still:rolleyes: I do have the raw version of these, and I use PS for editing. Natural light only on these two images
All help and critiques are welcomed

What camera do you use? If it is a slr then change the focus point to the centre point or just the one red dot in the middle and aim for the eyes:)
I did a quick edit in PS on one of your pics by selecting the eyes and using USM 100% at radius of 4.0
