My wife dislike XTI :( so she want to buy something simple like P&S.

She like some burst and quick picture instead of delay. its for kids to move around she would like to catch good picture quick.

I dont mind used...I saw ebay $89 for A540 hows that ?? i will try search for better quialty w/ low cost.

Lets try keep it under $150 for new or used on ebay.

Thank you!
Jake

Well, she isn't going to find very robust burst mode or quick response from most P&S models. With the A580IS and A590IS announced, the A570IS is starting to drop down into your price range.

Your wife may enjoy the movie mode on a point & shoot camera.

Check on pricing of a Canon A620 or A630, they both have full function of a dslr at a lessor price. You should be able to find an A620 for about $200.

After selling the XTi for that much money I would have at least got something decent like the A720 or SX100 since they're about the same size.
