Hey guys, not sure i asked before, but where is the cheapest place to buy this baby new??

thanks!!

I just got mine today from Adorama ..... there is a $50 rebate for a few more days. The link to B&H for $609 doesn't match the price that is listed when I check their web site .... it shows $639 so I don't know where the disconnect is.

Adorama has their brand of lens hood also ... much cheaper and looks the same as the canon hood.

Did you get the aftermarket lenshood, and if so, does it have a tight fit?

7d gripped, canon 10-22. canon 50 1.4, canon 135L, Mamiya equipment.

This is the hood I ordered: http://www.adorama.com/LNHEW83E.html (external link)

The lens/hood/filter arrived a day earlier than expected but I'm in Boston until tomorrow so I haven't had a chance to try it out.

I didn't have a code .... I looked for the lens on pricegrabber.com and clicked on the B&H link and the price that comes up is $639. ... I'm bummed if i could have gotten it for $609. I think I paid $629 at Adorama.

Heya, thanks, very little for me, shot in RAW and did a little tweaking. Then just adjusted the curves for contrast and exposure with a little shadow/highlight to bring out the shadows on then pier then noise reduction. Oh and adjusted the Blue curve to correct the colour balance.
