I think I prefer the second shot, but I'm not really sure. ... That's a LOT of wires in the air!!! I don't think I've ever seen that much cable before!! It almost looks like the cyclist is going to get his helmet caught up in some of that stuff!!

Thanks guys. if you think that's a lot of wires, you haven't seen anything. I think the guys I was traveling with have some better touristy stuff (I have been there before, so was more work focused this trip).

Basically there is hundreds of miles of wires, and only about 1% do anything. Nothing is mapped so they have no clue what is live and what isn't. When something fails, they add another wire.

More photos in a bit, spending all day today locked to my desk processing for about 20 clients. GAH.

I made sure to work hard the whole time I was there.

That second shot is pretty cool, I really like where the sport's going at the moment, it's much more spectator friendly.

Nice job ;)

Love the first shot! can you let us know your camera and flash settings for that shot? Did you underexpose the ambient light and let the flash override the ambient?

Fraser I love that first shot. Just a bit of a pity about the shadow from his cap over his eyes, but the shot is really fun.

Thanks. I was bummed too, but Sponsorship logos come first, particularly with the energy drink companies.
