NHL is pretty lax for the most part with zoom lens photography

It is the individual arena that sets the policy. The Nassau Coliseum, where the Islanders play, states "No professional looking cameras" Some guards let me in with a 80-400 others have stopped me with a 50 1.8 on my body (and a hidden 70-300) in my pocket.
