If you go to the link posted by Andy_Cam, click the picture then click next at the bottom. On the form you will notice the choice to add the 5D and 24-105L kit, then you'll just use the single barcode from the box.

I got the 40D & 24-105 lens out of a 5D kit. The lens and it just has a photocopy of the 5D box inside it in order to claim the cash back... mmm, I wonder if Canon would give me the cash back for the 5D too (still sitting in the shop)? ;)

Well I filled in the form, now i just need to chop a big hole in my box - as a collector that really hurts!

The only thing that worries me is that their terms and conditions state that it has to be a product supplied by Canon in Europe, and I'm pretty sure Kerso gets this stuff from the USA.

Maybe the people in the rebate center don't check so good - from the sounds of the other thread about UK rebates, they are pretty hit and miss even if you have no issues about gray market!

^ I got a 580 EX II from Ian in the last rebate and no problems with Canon paying the cashback, came through much quicker than I was expecting actually.

I too chopped a hole in my box but later read that the barcodes will peel off? Worth a try.

Send them an email mate letting them know just how cheesed off you are about it, i have and i am awaiting an answer. I am still fuming to be honest, a 60 day gap is just taking the urine.

Where did you send your email?

Might as well send it to the same place :)

I bought my 40d in September last year and just 30 days later they announced the last round of rebates which included £50 for the 40d. needless to say i wasn't impressed...... However even though my purchase was outside the promotion period i still sent off a claim - I have just checked the submission status site and apparently my cheque has been mailed out to me and is on it's way along with another cheque for my claim on a 24-70!!!!

some of you might of seen my other thread HERE where i was concerned that i wasn't going to receive either of my claims, well it seems my luck is in and my cheques are on the way.....

So, i recommend anyone that got caught out in the small space between promotions to send in a claim in regardless....... for the sakes of a stamp on an envelope it's got to be worth trying, it's paid off for me.......

Probably a stupid question but which barcode do I need to send it.

It's a 70-200mm f/4 I got from Kerso.

Theres one peel off label with the Serial Number on,
One with the EAN/JAN Code and one with the UPC code.

Any advice? Don't want to cut the wrong bit. Doing enough damage as it is.

Your safest bet is to cut the whole lot out, some people have said they've just peeled off the sticky label and sent that with no problems, but i'd rather have a big hole in the box and money in the bank than take the chance.....

edit: and be sure to make photocopies of everything as back up
