We have a growing number of *Fan clubs revolving around specific bodies.
These threads are a store house to discuss the specific bodies, how we use them, best tricks to get the most from them, preferred custom functions, etc..

I thought I'd make a collection of them, so we can find them and keep them organized (merge in new ones etc)

'Fanboys' is derogatory and sexist. We're 'connoisseurs', or 'appreciators of fine camera equipment', or simply...

'Enlightened'

:D

Nah, Fanboy is only derogatory if that's the intention.
I consider myself a Canon fanboy.. no question!

It's exactly like Nerd or Geek IMHO, you can use the terms as an insult, but we also use it to refer to ourselves and others in a friendly way. And even when used to insult, we can choose to not be offended.

I may be a fanboy, but on the bright side, I do have a strong understanding of the power requirements for small portable electronics..

AHA! Now I get it.

BTW, Perry, have you petitioned the Avatar Fairy to upgrade you to an animated GIF of the bunny? You really should.

You know, Perry, it could be worse. You could have been locked into the Small Flash and Studio Lighting forum (much like Permagrin was locked in the Wedding Forum some time ago). :)

How about the 400D/XTi owners chat? Or are we not worthy enough to grace the presence of this thread with mention of the 5D and 1D already :p
